We pack two sized boxes each week: the Grande and the Chica. Because it requires the same amount of work to pick, clean, pack and transport a Chica box as it does the Grande box, the Chica price is more than half of the Grande price. If you would prefer less produce and you know a friend who would like to share ~ you are welcome to order a Grande and split it up on your own. You will not only be saving wax boxes and $160 cash, but both families will be invited to all the farm events (just include both households on the sign-up sheet).

Installment plans: A deposit of one half of the total cost will reserve your box. The subscription share must be paid in full by May 25th. If this poses a hardship for you, please give us a call to discuss other arrangements.

2009 DropSites:

In 2009, the Featherstone CSA program will continue to serve shareholders in Rushford, Winona, Rochester and the Twin Cities Metro area. We are increasing our total number of shareholders as well as expanding to some new dropsites and delivery days. Exact delivery times will not be finalized until shortly before deliveries begin.

Subscription shares are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Certain dropsite locations are unavailable once the box limits for that site have been reached. We will do all we can to ensure that you get a dropsite that is convenient for you. If, after you sign up, the dropsites we have don't work for you, we will refund your payment. The same holds true for the delivery days and times.

One-time delivery fee. There will be a one-time charge of $5.00 for shareholders who pick-up at the Hennepin County Government Center, Hennepin County Environmental Services Building, or the Public Service Center. Delivery to these locations require us to incur additional costs for parking and staffing. Featherstone, as well as Hennepin County and the City of Minneapolis, are sharing most of these costs to offer additional convenient dropsites for people working in the downtown Minneapolis area. We are asking shareholders at these dropsites to pay the $5.00 fee in addition to the CSA box cost.
